Several celebrity couples took their relationships to new heights in 2023 with an engagement.

Former football player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, for his part, proposed to Sharelle Rosado on January 7. One day later, theSelling Tampaalum debuted her diamond ring via Instagram Story.

Johnson — who was previously married to Evelyn Lozada in 2012 — had been dating Rosado since November 2020. While the twosome, who welcomed daughter Serenity in January 2022, had been calling one another “fiancé” since 2021, the NFL alum made it official in January.

I’m still pinching myself,” she added via her Instagram Story. “Love you forever @danielndurant.”

“Thank you @disney for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real-life fiancé,” Wilson wrote via Instagram on December 27, four days after he proposed in front of a Christmas tree.

Van de Pol, best known for her role as Chelsea Daniels on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, met Wilson on the network’s Raven’s Home spinoff. He played Chelsea’s ex-husband.

Bachelor Nation alum Wesh — who appeared on Clayton Echard’s Bachelor season — announced on December 25 that she and Matelli were engaged.

Braxton announced that she and Robinson were engaged for a second time, three months after their October split.

The Peloton instructors announced their engagement on December 20. “Starting another chapter of our lives together 💍,” Kennedy wrote via Instagram.

Actor and Peloton enthusiast Sterling K. Brown took to the comments to congratulate the couple. "Couldn’t be happier for the both of you!!!” he replied. “Congrats to two of my favorites, bringing health and happiness to all…including each other! 🕉"

Us Weekly exclusively confirmed on December 20 that the Jackass alum proposed to Marie after six months of dating.

Us Weekly confirmed on December 17 that Lutes proposed to Lovato after one year of dating, surprising her with a post-engagement party at Craig’s in Los Angeles.
