What a fantastic place to have lunch. Sat at bar, and had a really nice lunch with my daughter. Great service, very nice. Food was great! Keep up the good work! The fried green tomatoes were really good!

Summary: spend money elsewhere on breakfast. The original Market at Main is not very good anymore. You would be better off going to the Boonsboro or Wards Road locations. The food was disappointedly average, it has decreased in quality in recent years.Omelette is just a breakfast scramble that has been folded, the bacon was burnt and the eggs had a slight film consistency. Virginia Benedict looks pretty, but is average. The sausages were slightly below room temperature, they weren’t heated before being served. The poached egg was fine. The hollandaise sauce had an overwhelming taste of vinegar, that left a slight irritating sensation in the throat. The space is still cool and vintage. The location is fine. It was not busy. 2 dined and the bill was $45. You would be better off going to My Dog Dukes for the same price with substantially better food.

I’ve been here two or three times. I love the food, and the mimosas are great. i would say don’t go here if you want a quick meal—i waited for nearly an hour with my two friends to get our food. our server was so nice and we loved everything we ate!

YOU WILL GET SICK! I used to go here frequently for lunch, however, in the past year or so I have been completely turned off to them based on the obvious lack of responsibility by the cooks, when handling and preparing the food. You would think that with an open kitchen concept, they would be more careful. I expressed concern to a manager previously but clearly nothing has changed. Today I went there for lunch, placed my order 15 minutes after sitting at the counter where several employees passed me by and never even said hello. During this time, and after placing my order, I watched the cooks handling raw meat and chicken with their bare hands. Without washing their hands or putting on gloves, they then touched bread, tortilla wraps, vegetables, cutting boards, knives, spatulas… Basically cross contaminating every single thing they came in contact with. I also witnessed one of the cooks wipe sweat from his forehead, with the same bare hand, wipe his hands with a towel then used the same towel to wipe off a counter, a plate, and a cutting knife. At this point, I told the waitress to cancel my order and I left. I was completely disgusted and felt like if I ate anything there, I would become sicker than I felt watching them. I would very strongly caution anyone against eating here! They are either extremely uneducated or extremely irresponsible in proper food handling.
