The Stellar 18' Expedition G2 (S18 EXP G2) is the latest iteration of one of the originals. Known for its great glide, stability and speed, keeping those highlights we tweaked the hull for additional efficiency, stability and capacity. The durable S18 EXP G2 comes standard with a keel strip and 4 hatches for adventures which makes it very popular for ultra-marathon kayak events as well. Whether expedition kayaking in unknown waters or a multi-day stage race, the rugged construction and ample storage of the S18 EXP G2 will get you there safely with grace and style. The S18 EXP G2 fits a wide range of paddler builds and has ample co*ckpit volume for large shoes to fit in.

Description: Single skin laminate hull made of Carbon & Kevlar® fabric, with clear gelcoat finish, and the deck is the standard Advantage construction. The hull is designed to be flexible and durable, but creates a stiff boat that can take some abuse in the class I and II rapids and shallows, but is also at home in the ocean or the flats. To increase the durability of this boat, the hull is outfitted standard with a full-length Kevlar keel strip.

From Dupont Kevlar, Toray Carbon, Lantor Core and 3M finishing materials, we realize that these materials may cost more, but provide you with a superior boat in mechanical strength, aesthetic finish, optimal weight and consistent performance. We process those superior materials, by using epoxy resin, heat curing, vacuum and infusion to create the some of the best boats on the market.
